Our SAAS product, Dishio, is designed to transform the dining experience by enhancing digital marketing capabilities and improving data attribution tools. As a growing leader in the field, Dineline seeks a Data Engineer to scale and evolve Dishio, ensuring it remains the premier technology solution for the restaurant industry.

Objective: To develop and enhance the attribution software, Dishio, ensuring it provides clear and actionable insights to help restaurants scale their businesses effectively by linking digital marketing efforts directly to on-site transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration: Implement and manage the extraction and integration of data from various online advertising platforms (like Google, Meta, and TikTok) and the restaurant’s POS system or geo-location to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns in driving sales.
  • Data Warehousing: Design and maintain robust databases or data warehouses that consolidate marketing and sales data, ensuring scalability and accessibility for high-volume handling.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain automated data pipelines to facilitate the efficient and reliable flow of data from multiple sources into centralized systems such as BigQuery.
  • Technical Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and CEO to guide technical decisions and project directions. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and progress.
  • Compliance and Data Security: Manage data handling and storage with a strong focus on accuracy, privacy, and legal compliance.

  • Accuracy and reliability of data integration and attribution metrics.
  • Efficiency of data processing and accessibility in supporting real-time business decisions.
  • Compliance with data protection laws and standards in all operations.
  • Effectiveness in improving transparency and ROI of marketing campaigns for restaurant clients.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on marketing attribution in a previous role.
  • Strong technical background in managing large-scale data systems and developing complex data pipelines.
  • Experience in integrating diverse data sources and providing actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and best practices in data security.

Location: Remote, with quarterly in-person meetings and occasional travel within the United States.
